Qualifications

Master’s or doctoral degree in chemistry, pharmacy, pharmaceutics or a related discipline.

At least three years of practical experience in pharmaceutical synthesis, formulation or analytical development, with experience leading a CMC team for innovative medicines.

A thorough understanding of new drug development and regulatory submissions, supported by practical experience.

Experience managing and collaborating on CMC development projects with CMOs or CROs.

Strong execution, team-building, communication, organization and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for the pharmaceutical development of the company’s innovative medicines and advance outsourced CMC projects.

Work closely with GMP manufacturing, drug supply and other functions to support project delivery and GMP compliance.

Develop plans and strategies for process development, technology transfer and pilot-scale production of active pharmaceutical ingredients and formulations; manage CMC development and project execution.

Organize the preparation and review of IND and NDA documentation in line with domestic and international CMC requirements.

Monitor and manage CMC activities against agreed budgets and timelines.

Track and advance ongoing projects while improving the project management system.

Oversee compliance at third-party partners.

Lead the company’s CMC team.

Carry out other duties assigned by the company.
